Keely Leonard is a graduate of Ball State University and a co-founder of the Waltzing Mechanics, where she currently serves as the Director of New Play Development. In 2016, she directed the world premier of her original play, Cosmic Events Are Upon Us, produced by Waltzing Mechanics. She has also worked extensively on the EL Stories series as a writer and director. Other credits include assistant directing for the remount of All Our Tragic (Hypocrites), and directing Closer (CPP, Los Angeles) and the performance piece No Gift/No Surprise in Chicago.
