MARY PATCHELL (Director) received her BA in Theatre: Directing from Columbia College Chicago in 2007. Her most recent notable credit was Co-Directing(with Right Brain Project’s Nathan Robbel)the promenade hit Burn the Black Dog with Wayward productions. She was trained in wig making at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, is a founding member of The Neapolitans, was Managing Director for Wayward Production’s 2014 season, and has worked consistently with Mary-Arrchie Theatre Company since 2008. She is thrilled to be creating with the Waltzing Mechanics and would like to thank the whole team and cast for bringing the 25th edition of El stories to life! Eternal thanks to her ride or die clan of friends and family, for nothing would be possible without them.
CHRISTINA CASANO (Stage Manager) is a theatre artist based in Chicago. She earned a BA in Theatre from Miami University and completed the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Summer Professional Training Program. Selected works include Belladonna Luna Sonata and These Saints Will Burn (The Plagiarists), Twelfth Night (CBD), Milk Like Sugar (The Yard + Raven Theatre), Owners (ITP), Macbeth and Angels in America (Miami University). She is a company member with The Plagiarists where she serves as the Resident Stage Manager, and is a company member with Crowded Bookshelf Dramatics.
