In 2001, former Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley proposed the O’Hare Modernization Program, which reconfigured the runways at Chicago’s busiest airport and forced the relocation of the 150 year-old St. Johannes Cemetery. Playwright Thomas Murray interviewed both family descendants and notable historians about the impact. In doing so, this original documentary play explores the range of emotions and politics involved in literally bringing up the dead.
